Hyderabad: The search for leading lady to star opposite Chiranjeevi in his 150th film 'Kathilantodu' is getting tough and with each passing day interesting names are being heard as top contenders for Chiru's comeback film. The film has created a lot of expectations among fans and if reports are anything to go by, Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone might star opposite Megastar in the film.

It is said that the makers, who are scouting for the lead actress in the comeback film of Megastar, have approached the 'Piku' actor who has just wrapped her Hollywood debut 'XXX: Return Of The Xander Cage' alongside Vin Diesel. Rumours also suggest that the actress has reportedly given her consent.

'Kattilantodu', directed by VV Vinayak, is a Telugu remake of Vijay-Murugadoss's 'Kaththi'. In the film, Chiranjeevi will essay dual roles.

Megastar's prestigious comeback film is being bankrolled by his son Ram Charan who will mark his debut as a producer. The film will be debut project made under their home banner Konidela Production Company. While the pre-production work is already underway, the film might go on floors later this month.
