Radhika Apte, who is known for her works Raktha Charitra, Lion and Legend, made headlines some time back for her sensational comments on Telugu film industry. She said that the industry is male dominant and has a male chauvinistic setup.
Though the comments drew a huge row, Radhika remained true to her statement. Apparently, here she is, back in the news with her latest interview to a portal, where she spoke about the insecure south Indian heroes and the bad work she has done here.
Talking about her upcoming film Kabali and her co-star Superstar Rajinikanth, Radhika said that it is the first south Indian film, where she was treated as an equal. She opined that the actor has no insecurity.
"I tried to do a few films in the South for whatever reason, and then I decided I won't do them anymore. Then I got a Rajnikanth film. It's an experience of a lifetime. It's the first time I acted in a South Indian film where I was treated as an equal by an actor.", she further added.
