Sardaar release is just around the corner, just hours from the first ever benefit show to be screened in the world. And still what shocks anyone is the lack of bookings at Big Multiplexes in Telugu states. No popular multiplexes like Prasads, PVR or Inox have opened the bookings of the film neither physical at counters nor online.
As per the buzz, we are hearing, Sardaar producers are demanding advance payments from multiplex theatres, due to which the release is not happening. Generally, single-screen theatres pay one-week collection in advance to Big Films thereby help distributor recover early money. But multiplexes pay only for what they get through the collection and hence no advance. However, Sardaar makers are said to be insisting for advance pay, and multiplexes are in no mood to bend their policies. That's the reason online bookings of Sardaar aren't happening in multiplexes.
