Here is finally good news for movie lovers, especially small films that often find it hard to survive amidst the big movies. A Sub-Committee drafted to look into the safeguarding of small films in Telangana has finally given a much needed go ahead.
Theaters in Telangana will soon screen five shows per day. It is made mandatory to show the small film as the fifth show. Also, the number of theaters screening the small films has been increased from 30 to 50. Also, the committee has accepted proposal to grant 9 acres land for movie artists and workers in Chitrapuri colony and establish a TV and Film institute in Hyderabad.
